Opening Glance: Shares of household durables drop

Household-durables stocks fell Tuesday morning as the broader markets reeled from news April wholesale inflation rose and crude-oil prices touched yet another all-time high.

How some stocks of household-durables companies are trading:

Black & Decker Corp., down 64 cents to $66.20.

Whirlpool Corp., down 97 cents to $73.46.

Snap-on Inc., down 49 cents to $60.42.

Stanley Works, down 51 cents to $49.62.
