Tween Brands Inc., which sells apparel for girls under the Limited Too and Justice brand names, said Tuesday that Rolando de Aguiar has been named chief financial officer, filling the vacancy created when Paul C. Carbone resigned.
De Aguiar, 59, joins the company on June 2. He was most recently a managing director with Abacus Advisors LLC, a management advisory company. Before joining Abacus, de Aguiar served as chief administrative officer of the now-defunct Ames Department Stores. He has also held positions at Gruma SAB de CV, Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Occidental Petroleum Corp.
Carbone left the company in February. Tween Brands said his departure was not related to "a disagreement with, inaccuracies or omissions in the company's financial reporting and accounting systems."
