Health care equipment and supply stocks mostly fell late Wednesday as the general market declined on concerns over rising oil and a bleak outlook from the Federal Reserve.
Minutes from April's Fed meeting revealed that policymakers expect sharply lower economic growth and higher unemployment later this year.
How shares of some major health care equipment and supply companies ended regular trading:
Varian Medical Systems Inc. fell 8 cents to $45.45.
Stryker Corp. gained 18 cents to $62.48.
Baxter International Inc. fell 9 cents to $61.28.
Bucking the trend, Boston Scientific Inc. fell 8 cents to $13.47.
