Conmed names Darling to head Linvatec unit

Surgical equipment maker Conmed Corp. said Wednesday that it has named Joseph G. Darling president of its Linvatec subsidiary.
The Linvatec subsidiary focuses on manufacturing devices for use by orthopedic surgeons to treat sports-related injuries.
Prior to joining Conmed, Darling was senior vice president at Smith & Nephew.
