A director of DTS Inc., which makes audio parts for speakers, DVD players and computers, exercised options for 20,000 shares of common stock, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
In a Form 4 filed with the SEC Tuesday, C. Ann Busby reported exercising the options on Friday for $16.55 apiece, then selling all 20,000 shares on the same day for $30 to $30.52 apiece.
Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
DTS is based in Agoura Hills, Calif.
