Shares of diversified financial services companies declined more modestly Wednesday morning following the prior day's big losses as Wall Street remained concerned about rising crude-oil prices.
Crude oil briefly reached $130 a barrel for the first time on Wednesday. Investors also waited for government data on crude-oil inventories and for minutes from the Federal Reserve's April 29-30 meeting to give them more direction.
How shares of some diversified financials were performing Wednesday morning:
Citigroup Inc., down 24 cents to $21.87.
Bank of America Corp., down 14 cents to $35.24.
JPMorgan Chase & Co., down 35 cents to $43.35.
CIT Group Inc., down 23 cents to $11.40.
