Opening Glance: Major beverage makers mostly rise

Major beverage stocks mostly rose early Thursday as the broader market regained some traction after the Labor Department said unemployment claims dropped last week.

How shares of some major beverage makers performed just after the opening bell:

Molson Coors Brewing Co. added 18 cents to $56.68.

PepsiCo Inc. rose 46 cents to $67.73.

Coca-Cola Co. gained 15 cents to $56.80.

Bucking the trend, Anheuser-Busch Cos. fell 33 cents to $52.32.
