US Concrete names John M. Piecuch as chairman

U.S. Concrete Inc., which makes ready-mixed concrete and other building supplies, said late Thursday it named John M. Piecuch as its non-executive chairman.

Piecuch succeeds Vincent D. Foster, a founding director of U.S. Concrete who has served as non-executive chairman since 1999.

Foster will remain on the board and serve on its audit, compensation and executive committees, the company said.

Piecuch has served on U.S. Concrete's board since February 2007. Most recently, he was president and chief executive of MMI Products Inc., which makes and distributes building and construction material products.
