BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) _ Daktronics Inc., a supplier of large-screen video displays, said Wednesday its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings skyrocketed 62 percent because of strong international and billboard sales.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. said Wednesday that fourth-quarter earnings jumped 41 percent, beating Wall Street expectations, as the clothing maker benefited from higher sales and a lower tax rate.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (AP) _ Strong sales and a lower tax rate led discount retailer Dollar Tree Inc. to report Wednesday its fiscal first-quarter profit grew 14 percent.

LONDON (AP) _ Luxury goods company Burberry Group PLC reported a 23 percent rise in full-year profit Wednesday, with strong sales growth in North American and emerging markets.

MILAN, Italy (AP) _ The Italian airline Alitalia posted a 2007 loss of about $780 million for 2007 and appealed for new capital to keep flying.
