Medical device maker Clarient Inc. said Thursday that Raymond J. Land will become chief financial officer on June 5 to replace James Agnello, who announced his resignation earlier this month.
Land, 63, joins Clarient from Safeguard Scientifics Inc., which invests in high-tech and life sciences ventures. He had served as CFO at that company. He will relocate with his wife, Kathleen, to Southern California from his current home in the greater Philadelphia area.
