Raceway operator Speedway Motorsports Inc. on Thursday named Bill Brooks as vice chairman.
Brooks, 58, has held the treasurer and CFO roles at the company since its organization in 1994. He will continue to serve in those roles.
He was promoted from vice president to executive vice president in 2004.
Shares of Speedway Motorsports rose 15 cents to close at $25.23.
