Extreme Networks Inc., which makes components for computer networks, said Monday it won a patent lawsuit against Enterasys Networks Inc.
A jury in a federal Wisconsin court found unanimously that Enterasys Networks had infringed three of Extreme Networks' patents and awarded Extreme Networks damages, Extreme Networks said in a statement.
Extreme Networks, which did not specify those damages, said it is seeking an injunction prohibiting the infringing Enterasys products from using the patented technology and recovery of its attorney fees.
A call to Enterasys Networks, owned by an investor group led by Gores Group LLC and Tennenbaum Capital Partners LLC, was not immediately returned.
