PartnerRe names head of global specialty lines

Reinsurer PartnerRe Ltd. said Monday it named Emmanuel Clarke head of specialty lines for its global operations.

Global operations includes all non-U.S. businesses.

Clarke, 38, currently serves as head of the global unit's property and casualty business.

Clarke will replace Kurt Angst, who is retiring. Clarke and Angst, 59, will work together beginning Sept. 1 until Angst's official retirement in December.

Alain Flandrin, 52, will replace Clark as head of property and casualty operations for the global unit.
