Verigy names chief operating officer

Verigy, which makes test equipment for semiconductor makers, said Monday it named Jorge Luis Titinger its chief operating officer.

In the newly created position, Titinger will be in charge of overseeing product line engineering, manufacturing and quality operations.

Titinger most recently served as a senior vice president at FormFactor Inc., which makes products for testing semiconductors.
