ABM Industries reaffirms 2008 outlook

ABM Industries Inc., a facilities-service provider, on Tuesday reaffirmed its fiscal 2008 earnings guidance, after reporting fiscal second-quarter profit fell 34 percent.

The company continues to expect earnings of $1 to $1.15 per share, or $1.20 to $1.35 per share excluding one-time items.

The year has one additional work day compared with a year ago, which added $2.3 million, or 5 cents per share, to labor expenses in the second quarter, the New York company said.
