Forest Laboratories Senior VP sells stock

The senior vice president of marketing at drug developer Forest Laboratories Inc. sold 62,000 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Monday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Elaine Hochberg reported she sold the shares for $35.59 to $35.77 apiece Friday.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

Forest Laboratories is based in New York.
