Resources Connection CEO becomes chairman

Resources Connection Inc., which provides staffing services for accounting and finance firms, said late Monday its president and chief executive, Donald B. Murray, will leave those posts to become executive chairman, effective immediately.
Board member Thomas D. Christopoul, 43, has been named president and CEO as part of the company's ongoing succession plan.
Resources Connection said it entered a three-year employment agreement with Christopoul that started Sunday.
The company's shares fell 55 cents, or 2.6 percent, to $20.46 in premarket trading.
