NEW YORK (AP) _ Meredith Corp.'s stock slid Friday after the media company said late Thursday it would cut 120 jobs and take a fourth-quarter charge of $16 million, or 33 cents per share.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Shares of Volterra Semiconductor Corp., which makes power-management semiconductors, retreated Friday after an analyst downgraded the stock following a recent run-up to a 52-week high.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Shares of Foot Locker Inc. dropped Friday as an analyst said inventory levels are a short-term problem for the athletic footwear retailer during an already-difficult time for the industry.
