Swiss agrochemicals company Syngenta spent $400,000 in the first quarter to lobby on pesticide legislation and other issues, according to a disclosure report.
The company also lobbied the U.S. federal government on legislation involving biofuels, biotechnology product issues, patent reform, the security of chemical facilities, the Endangered Species Act and various trade matters, according to the report filed April 18 with the House clerk's office.
