E-commerce software service company Digital River Inc. on Tuesday said it expanded its e-commerce deal with Eastman Kodak Co., launching a new online store for sales of Kodak document scanners in the U.S.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Digital River said it is providing Web-based order management and physical product fulfillment for the online store, which is located at http://scannerstore.kodak.com.
The company said the Web store uses its intelligent sourcing engine, which can automatically ascertain the best third-party warehouse location for delivery of a product, based on factors like shipping costs and real-time inventory status.
Digital River also hosts a software e-commerce site for Kodak's print on demand solutions group.
Digital River shares fell 14 cents to $40.90 in afternoon trading. Kodak shares slid 10 cents, to $13.47, after earlier hitting $13.40, its lowest point in decades.
