Vimpelcom names Reznikovich as chairman

Russian telecommunications provider Vimpel-Communications said Wednesday it named Alexey Reznikovich as chairman.

Reznikovich has served as a company director since May 2002, and was chairman of Golden Telecom from May 2007 to February 2008. Since June 2005, Reznikovich also has served as chief executive of Altimo, which was created to manage the telecom investments of Alfa Group.
