Dutch insurance company Aegon NV spent $540,000 in the first quarter to lobby the U.S. government on insurance-related matters, data security and privacy, and more, according to a disclosure report.
The company also lobbied on legislation involving patent reform, trade agreements, the consolidation of life insurance companies with other companies, long-term care, pension and investments, and terrorism risk insurance, according to the report filed April 21 with the House clerk's office.
