St. Joe cuts chief strategy officer position

Florida real estate developer St. Joe Co. said Friday that Chris Corr left the company as it eliminated the position of executive vice president and chief strategy officer due to difficult market conditions and lower business operations.

Corr had worked as St. Joe's executive vice president since 2007 and its chief strategy officer since 2006. His base salary in 2007 was $346,725, according to St. Joe's proxy statement filed in March.
