Alphatec Spine names Peter Wulff as CFO

Medical device maker Alphatec Spine, a unit of Alphatec Holdings Inc., said Monday it named Peter C. Wulff as chief financial officer and treasurer.

Wulff most recently served as CFO of Artes Medical Inc., a San Diego-based medical technology company.

Before that he served in senior finance positions at both public and privately-held medical device and pharmaceutical companies including CryoCor Inc., Natural Alternatives International Inc., Epimmune Inc. and Ligand Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Alphatec Spine makes products for the surgical treatment of spine disorders, primarily focused on the aging spine.
