PPL names former Skanska CEO to board

Energy and utility holding company PPL Corp. said Tuesday it named the recently retired president and chief executive of Sweden-based Skanska AB to its board.

Stuart E. Graham, who retired as Skanska's president and CEO in April, will join the PPL board on July 1. He continues to serve as chairman of Skanska USA.

The addition of Graham brings PPL's board to 11 directors. Graham's term will expire in May 2010.

PPL shares fell 1 cent to $50.97 in afternoon trading.
