CDI to form joint Kuwait-based joint venture

Engineering and information-technology outsourcing company CDI Corp. said Wednesday it agreed to form a joint venture with a unit of Al-Imtiaz Investment Co. to create an engineering, procurement and construction-management company in Kuwait.
CDI is creating the joint venture through its engineering solutions division. CDI will own 49 percent and Al-Imtiaz's Emtiaz Engineering & Energy Holding Co. the rest.
The joint venture will develop oil, gas, chemical, power, water development and infrastructure projects in Kuwait, Qatar and elsewhere.
Al-Imtiaz targets investments in the financial, real estate development and energy sectors, among others.
