Harris Corp., a communications and information technology company, said Thursday it was selected to receive a seven-year $58 million contract by NASA.
As part of the contract, the Oceaneering International Inc. team _ of which Harris is a member _ will provide NASA with a new generation of space suits to support its Constellation program.
Harris will create the communications and navigation systems for the suit.
