Anchor BanCorp director buys 10,000 shares

A director of regional bank operator Anchor BanCorp Wisconsin Inc. bought 10,000 shares of stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Monday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Greg M. Larson reported he bought the shares for $7.96 apiece Thursday.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

Anchor is based in Madison, Wis.
