Nymex buys 25 percent stake in ConfirmHub

Nymex Holdings Inc., the operator of the New York Mercantile Exchange, said Tuesday it is an investor in ConfirmHub LLC, a technology firm that provides a central, standardized platform for transaction confirmation delivery.

Nymex owns a 25 percent stake in ConfirmHub, having joined interdealer brokers GFI, ICAP and Tullet Prebon as an investor.

The cost of Nymex's investment was not disclosed.
