DayStar Technologies names Steckel financial chief

DayStar Technologies Inc., a developer of photovoltaic products, said Friday it named William Steckel as the company's chief financial officer.

Steckel, 51, was most recently financial chief at Norwood Promotional Products, a supplier of imprinted promotional products.

The prior financial chief, Raja Venkatesh, resigned in March to pursue other opportunities.
