The Information Technology Association of America spent $292,000 lobbying the federal government in the first quarter, according to a recent disclosure report.
The trade group, whose members include CA Inc., Microsoft Corp. and International Business Machines Corp., lobbied on immigration reform, visa fraud prevention, online crime, defense contracting and more, according to the amended report filed June 9 with the House clerk's office.
Besides Congress, the ITAA lobbied the departments of Commerce, Defense, Justice, Labor, Homeland Security, Treasury, Agriculture and others in the first three months of the year.
