Limited Brands Inc. spent $230,000 in the first quarter to lobby on trade issues and customs compliance, among other issues.
The Columbus, Ohio-based parent of Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works and other brands also lobbied on tax and accounting issues, including the taxation of international business transactions and Internet sales.
Limited Brands also lobbied on the safety of overseas products, port security measures and data security proposals, according to a disclosure form filed April 21 with the House clerk's office.
