Household-durables stocks fell Tuesday as Wall Street once again faced worry that near-record prices for crude oil could continue to erode demand and harm the economy in coming periods.
How shares of some household-durables companies traded:
Black & Decker Corp., down $1.41, or 2.5 percent, to $56.10.
Whirlpool Corp., down 66 cents to $61.07.
Snap-on Inc., down 63 cents to $51.38.
Stanley Works, down 63 cents to $44.20.
