TierOne Bank's owners said the company will close all nine of its loan production offices.
TierOne Corp., the Nebraska-based parent of TierOne Bank, said Monday it's part of an effort to focus on lending activity in its primary market: Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas.
The lending offices being closed are in Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Denver and Fort Collins, Colo., Orlando, Fla., Minneapolis, Las Vegas, and Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C.
TierOne will continue to service loans with existing customers. Fifteen employees will be offered severance packages. The company says the closings aren't expected to impact employment at the company's Lincoln headquarters.
TierOne has 69 bank branches in Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas.
