Major beverage stocks were mixed Wednesday as the broader market stumbled after oil prices soared to yet another record, hitting $143.91 a barrel in afternoon trading.
Meanwhile, Anheuser-Busch Cos. attorneys argued in a St. Louis court on Wednesday, fighting a shareholder lawsuit claiming the board has hurt shareholders by rejecting an unsolicited $46 billion buyout offer from Belgian brewer InBev.
The brewer's attorneys say the case should be decided in Delaware, where the company is incorporated. Nine lawsuits have already been filed there with the same complaints.

Anheuser-Busch fell 26 cents to $61.68
Coca-Cola Co. rose 37 cents to $51.37
Molson Coors Brewing Co. fell 85 cents to $54.38
PepsiCo Inc. rose $1.36, or 2.1 percent, to $65.76
