Closing Glance: Shares of household durables dip

Household durables stocks mostly fell Wednesday after crude oil prices touched a new high above $144 a barrel, and Commerce Department data showed factory orders rose less in May then in April.

Here's how some stocks of household durables companies traded:

Black & Decker Corp., down 44 cents at $55.66

Whirlpool Corp., down 21 cents to $60.86

Snap-on Inc., down 59 cents to $50.79

Stanley Works, down 89 cents, or 2 percent, to $43.31
