Household durables stocks mostly rose Wednesday morning after the Commerce Department said factory orders jumped 0.6 percent in May, a level that Wall Street had expected.

Black & Decker Corp., up 55 cents to $56.65.
Whirlpool Corp., up 50 cents to $61.57.
Snap-on Inc., down 17 cents to $51.21.
Stanley Works, up 20 cents to $44.40.
