Pinnacle Financial buys Beach & Gentry Insurance

Banking and investment services provider Pinnacle Financial Partners Inc. said Wednesday that it purchased Murfreesboro, Tenn.-based Beach & Gentry Insurance LLC.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Beach & Gentry will merge with Miller & Loughry, a subsidiary of Pinnacle also located in Murfreesboro. The remaining business will be called Miller Loughry Beach.

Pinnacle shares rose 26 cents to $19.89 in after-hours trading after dropping 46 cents, or 2.3 percent, to $19.63 during the regular session.
