NEW YORK (AP) _ Shares of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. continued to climb for the third straight day Thursday after shares fell sharply Monday amid speculation the investment bank might be bought out at a discount price by Barclays PLC.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Shares of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. advanced on Thursday after a Morgan Joseph analyst upgraded the stock to "Buy," saying the heavy construction and engineering firm is poised to benefit from more business in the lucrative oil and gas markets.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Shares of network storage company Compellent Technologies Inc. fell Thursday after a Friedman Billings Ramsey & Co. analyst initiated coverage of the stock with a "Market Perform" rating, saying the company's shares are fully valued.
