Opening Glance: Major beverage makers rise

Major beverage stocks rose in early trading Thursday after the Labor Department said the unemployment rate held steady at 5.5 percent in June, reducing fears about a worsening labor market.
How shares of some major beverage makers performed just after the opening bell:
Coca-Cola Co. added 30 cents to $51.67.
Molson Coors Brewing Co. gained 11 cents to $54.49.
PepsiCo Inc. rose 57 cents to $66.33.
Anheuser-Busch Cos. added 13 cents to $61.81.
