Arrow Electronics completes Achieva deal

Arrow Electronics Inc., an electronics and computer products distributor, said Monday it completed its acquisition of the components distribution business of Achieva Ltd.

Arrow said the deal will immediately add to its earnings in the first year by 1 cent to 3 cents per share.

The company said the acquisition will help build its presence in the Asia Pacific region, where Achieva is located.

Arrow agreed to buy the company in February. Financial terms were not disclosed.
