Household durables stocks mostly fell Monday after reports the head of the San Francisco Federal Reserve gave a wary economic outlook, and Wall Street worried about the financial health of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Black & Decker Corp., down 52 cents at $56.01

Whirlpool Corp., off 22 cents at $62.47

Snap-on Inc., up 9 cents $50.27

Stanley Works, down 37 cents at $44
