Closing Glance: Aerospace and defense stocks rise

Aerospace and defense companies rose in Tuesday afternoon trading as oil prices took another sharp downturn.
The price of light, sweet crude fell $5.36 to $136.01 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, compounding a declined of almost $4 on Monday.
Here are the results for a few key stocks in the sector:
Rockwell Collins Inc. climbed $3.11, or 6.5 percent, to $51.27.
Goodrich Corp. rose $1.83, or 4 percent, to $48.
L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. picked up $2.71, or 3 percent, to $93.25.
Boeing Co. added $1.63, or 2.5 percent, to $65.92.
