Closing Glance: Electrical equipment stocks gain

Shares of electrical equipment companies finished mostly higher as the broader market rallied on a decline in oil prices and remarks from Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke indicating the central bank may extend lending to the financial sector.

Here's how some shares of electrical equipment makers fared:

Regal Beloit Corp., up $1.19, or 2.9 percent, to $42.03

Avnet Inc., up 79 cents, or 3 percent, to $26.88

Emerson Electric Co., up 45 cents to $49.46

Molex Inc., up 11 cents to $23.15.
