The Personal Care Products Council spent $190,000 in the first quarter lobbying on funding for the Food and Drug Administration, according to a disclosure report.
The group, formerly the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association, lobbied on funding for the FDA's Office of Cosmetics and Colors.
In the first three months of the year, the group lobbied Congress and the FDA, according to the disclosure report filed with the House clerk's office April 21.
The group represents over 600 cosmetic, fragrance and toiletries companies, including Johnson & Johnson, the Estee Lauder Cos. Inc. and Kimberly-Clark Corp.
