LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (AP) _ Railcar manufacturer Greenbrier Cos. said Tuesday its third-quarter profit dropped 38 percent, hurt by a dip in revenue in the company's manufacturing division.

SOMERS, N.Y. (AP) _ Pepsi Bottling Group Inc., the world's largest maker of Pepsi beverages, said Tuesday its second-quarter profit rose 7 percent as strong growth in Europe and Mexico helped offset higher commodity costs and weaker volumes in U.S. and Canadian markets.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (AP) _ PriceSmart Inc., which operates shopping warehouse clubs in Central America and the Caribbean, said Tuesday its third quarter profit more than doubled, helped by a gain from a litigation settlement and higher warehouse club revenue.
