Closing Glance: Shares of household durables fall

Household durables stocks fell Wednesday as crude oil prices fluctuated throughout the day after a U.S. government report showed oil stockpiles fell more then expected last week.

Here is a look at how shares of some household durables companies traded:

Black & Decker Corp., down $2.78, or 4.8 percent, to $55.47

Whirlpool Corp., down $1.45, or 2.2 percent, to $63.14

Snap-on Inc., down $1.20, or 2.3 percent, to $50.32

Stanley Works, down $1.21, or 2.7 percent, to $43.90
