NEW YORK (AP) _ Shares of Mattson Technology Inc. fell to their lowest price in nearly five years Wednesday after the semiconductor manufacturing equipment maker cut its second-quarter guidance, citing market weakness.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Shares of Federal Signal Corp., which makes fire trucks, security systems and street cleaning equipment, tumbled Wednesday on worries that tightening municipal budgets could result in lower profits.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Shares of Rudolph Technologies Inc. jumped Wednesday after the company, which makes equipment for chip manufacturers, said second-quarter sales will exceed its prior forecast.
