Shares of insurers were mixed early Wednesday as oil prices rose after two days of declines.

Here's a look at how some insurers fared early Wednesday:

Assured Guaranty Ltd. fell 64 cents to $17.05.

American International Group Inc. fell 35 cents to $27.05.

Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. rose 1 cent to $66.07.

Progressive Corp. rose 24 cents to $20.37.
