Nasdaq adds 42 new listings in 2Q

Exchange operator Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. said Friday it attracted 42 new listings to the Nasdaq Stock Market during the second quarter.

Among the 42 new listings, six were initial public offerings.

Another 16 new listings were switches of dual listings from companies traded on the American Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange.

Ten new listings came from upgrades from over-the-counter or pink sheets trading. The remaining 10 were exchange traded funds, structured products or other listings.
